Rant: that recalled baby gate my sister swore by
My sister in Cleveland texted me last week about the infant gate recall, the one with the sliding lock that jammed. She had two of them up for 14 months and never saw an issue. I get that recalls cover edge cases, but the company pulled every unit and offered a $40 coupon. We literally threw out a gate that still worked. Has anyone else kept using a recalled product because the flaw never showed up in your home?

Man, I read a story about that recall where a toddler squeezed through right before the latch caught. Kind of made me think twice about keeping mine even though it never slipped for us.
