Had a kid tell me I gave him the best haircut of his life

Last Tuesday a little boy maybe 8 years old came in with his mom. He was nervous because his last barber messed up his fade pretty bad. I took my time with him showed him the clipper guard before I used it and explained what I was doing. After I finished he looked in the mirror for a solid 10 seconds then turned to his mom and said "this is the best haircut I ever had." His mom started laughing and said he never talks that much about haircuts. She tipped me $10 on top of the $18 cut. Stuff like that reminds me why I stopped doing walk-in only appointments and started taking my time with every chair. Has anyone else had a kid say something that just stuck with you for days?
