Shop owner in Denver said to stop using clippers on the neckline, and he was wrong
He swore up and down that a straight razor was the only way to clean up a neckline, so I tried it on 15 guys over two weeks. I nicked 3 of them and got way more complaints than with my clippers. Anybody else get advice like that and just go back to what works?
Did he tell you to go against the grain too? I bet the clipper guys who actually cut hair every day will tell you the opposite of whatever some shop owner swears by. Stick with the clippers, 3 nicks out of 15 is a bad ratio no matter how sharp your razor is.
