Finally fixed a stubborn pedal wobble after 2 weekends of tinkering
Been chasing a wobble on my left pedal for almost a month, swapped bearings and even tried a different crank arm. Then last Friday I noticed the pedal threads were slightly cross-threaded from the factory, recut them with a tap and it's smooth now. Anyone else run into pedal threads being off from new?

Wait, from the factory? That is insane to me. I've been wrenching for years and I've never seen a brand new pedal come cross-threaded. My buddy bought a set of Crank Brothers last month and one of them wouldn't thread on at all, we thought he just got a bad batch. I would have been so mad spending two weekends on something that should have worked right out of the box.
