That trick of watching just one episode per night really works. I used to binge everything and then wonder why I felt empty after finishing a series. It's because you don't give your brain time to process what happened. I started doing the same with a sci-fi show, and I found myself actually thinking about the plot between episodes. It made the big reveals so much more satisfying. Honestly, it's the best way to watch TV now that we have all these shows at our fingers.

I did the same with a drama series last month. Slowing down let me catch details I'd miss, and @finley679 is right about thinking between episodes making a difference. It turns watching into more of an event.
