Took a chance on a used copy of Castles of Burgundy for $15
I found a beat-up box at a thrift store near me last Saturday and figured for that price it was worth the risk. Got it home and all 164 tiles were accounted for, plus the rulebook and player boards were barely used. I've always wanted to try a Feld game but the $50 price tag kept me away. My wife and I played it twice already and we are hooked on the strategy. The tile placement and chaining bonuses make every game feel different. Has anyone else had good luck finding hidden gems at garage sales or thrift shops?

Did you check if all the vineyard tiles were in there, those are the ones that usually get lost or swapped out? I almost gave up hunting for a complete copy until I found mine with the expansion mixed in.

Nathan's right, those vineyard tiles are always the first to go.
