Swapped the ebook for a physical copy and our debate got 10x better

Our club kept arguing about the same chapter for 45 minutes because we all had different highlights and page numbers in our Kindles. I brought my beat-up paperback last Tuesday and suddenly everyone was pointing at the same dog-eared sections, and the whole conversation actually moved forward. Has anyone else tried mixing formats for a meeting and seen it change the tone?
