Spent $12 on a rotisserie chicken from Costco and fed myself lunches for 6 days straight
I usually grab the $5 packs of sliced turkey but last Sunday I went for the whole rotisserie bird instead. Pulled all the meat off in about 15 minutes, split it into five containers with rice and frozen veggies, and that was lunch sorted through Friday. The bones went into a pot with onion scraps and made a decent broth too, so nothing got wasted. Works out to like $2 a lunch which beats any drive thru near my office. What's your go to cheap protein that actually stretches that far?
