Rant: I thought I could fix my own dryer to save money

The repair manual said 2 hours, but it took me 6 hours and a $45 part because I stripped a bolt. Anyone have a good appliance repair person in Tacoma?

That stripped bolt is the worst part of any DIY project.

I used to be all about DIY until I spent a whole Saturday trying to fix my washing machine. Now I just call a guy.

My neighbor tried to fix his own garbage disposal after a similar story from @quinn_reed17. He flooded his kitchen and the repair bill was way worse than a service call. Sometimes you just gotta know when to quit.
