my bullet journal hit 200 pages and I didnt even notice
Ive been bullet journaling for like 4 years now but always switched notebooks every 6 months or so. Last January I decided to just stick with one A5 and see how long it lasted. Turns out I hit page 200 this morning and its nowhere near full yet. I counted and about 40 pages are monthly spreads, 60 are dailies, and the rest is all random collections like my coffee brewing log, reading list, and a habit tracker. I never thought I'd stay consistent this long with one book. Its got coffee stains, a torn page from carrying it in my bag, and the spine is totally cracked. Has anyone else pushed a single notebook past 200 pages or do you all switch out way sooner too?
That cracked spine and coffee stains thing really speaks to me. I read somewhere that a beat up notebook is like a badge of honor because it means you actually used it instead of just letting it sit on a shelf. Most people I know who journal switch books way before 200 pages, usually because they get bored with the size or want a fresh start. Sticking with one book that long takes some real focus, especially when you have all those random collections mixed in. My own notebook has around 150 pages right now and I already feel the urge to start over, but seeing posts like this makes me want to push through to 200 too. Plus, having everything in one place from the whole year is probably way more useful than flipping through five different books.
