My habit tracker layout took 4 hours to fix last Sunday
I spent all Sunday redoing my habit tracker because the columns didn't line up with the days in March. Turns out I miscounted the grid by 2 rows and had to erase and redraw everything with a ruler. Has anyone else had a spacing issue ruin a whole monthly spread like that?

Oh man, I read somewhere that the lunar calendar throws off March specifically because the moon phases shift everything. That plus the daylight saving thing makes it a nightmare to plan. Had the same problem last year with my fitness tracker, the week started on a Monday but March 1st was a Friday so my workout blocks got all messed up. Had to tape over three rows and start fresh with a ruler too. Your four hours sounds about right for that kind of fix.

Yeah, I gotta push back a little on what river952 said about the lunar calendar throwing off March. That's not really how calendars work in practice. The moon phases don't shift the actual days of the month, they just change where the full moons and new moons fall. So your March 1st is always March 1st no matter what the moon is doing. The real headache with March is that it's got 31 days starting on different weekdays each year, plus daylight saving messes with your schedule but not the actual grid. I think the ruler thing is just bad luck with measuring, not some cosmic calendar force. Though I gotta admit, the workout block problem is real when March 1st lands on a Friday and your Monday-Friday system gets thrown off. Four hours still seems long though, you might want to measure twice and draw once next time.

Dude I feel your pain on that ruler thing. Spent 3 hours last month fixing my weekly layout because I drew the grid one column too narrow and everything looked squished. Had to whiteout the whole section and start over with a sharper pencil.
