Rapid logging became a chore until I ditched the color coding

I spent 6 months making my bujo look pretty with 5 colored pens and washi tape, but I kept skipping days because it felt like a job. Once I switched to plain black ink and just bullets, my tracker went from half empty to filled every night for 3 weeks straight. Has anyone else felt like the decorating part actually kills the habit for them?
