The great pen bleed test of 2024 did not go as planned
I had to pick between a set of Staedtler fineliners I already owned and a new pack of Sakura Pigma Microns for my new journal. I went with the Staedtler because I'm cheap, but the 0.3mm tip bled right through the 120gsm paper on my first weekly spread. Now I've got ghosting on the next three pages. Anyone have a good pen for thin paper that won't cost me another $20?

Oh man, I feel that. My Leuchtturm with 80gsm paper ghosts with everything except a basic ballpoint. I ended up using a Pilot Hi-Tec-C 0.4 and it's been fine, no bleed.

Brianm66's right about the Hi-Tec-C being solid for thin paper. I've had good luck with a Uniball Signo 0.38 too, it just disappears on the page. What other pens have you tried that work?
