Just passed 50,000 feet of coax pulled in one year

Hit that number this morning on a job in a new subdivision outside Denver. Never thought I'd care about a milestone like that but seeing the total on my log sheet made me stop and think. How many feet are you guys pulling in a typical year?

Read an article in a trade mag a few months back that said the average cable puller does about 35,000 feet a year. That number stuck with me because it sounded low. Hitting 50K is a solid milestone, no doubt about it. You've probably seen more attics and crawlspaces in the last year than most people see in a lifetime. Good work keeping that log sheet, that's the kind of habit that separates the pros from the guys just collecting a check.

Hate to be that guy but 35k sounds way high for an average to me.

Wait is 35K really the average though? Some of those big commercial jobs downtown you can hit that in a few months.
