My old water heater finally gave out after 22 years

So you're just going by looks then? That's a bold move... but honestly, how do you even guess? Like, is there a certain shade of rust or a specific dent pattern that screams "replace me now" to you? I'd be worried I'd get it totally wrong and end up with a cold shower at the worst time.

Come on, that's just luck. Most old heaters are a ticking time bomb no matter the brand.

Rant: Our renewal forecast was a mess until I tried a new report setup

Let the tricky part break" sounds good until you're the one who has to explain why payroll is wrong or customer orders got lost. Forcing one format might work in a perfect lab, but real systems have years of weird business rules baked in. If you just make a clean cut, you're not fixing what's left, you're building a new mess on top of the old one. That extra mapping work is what keeps people from screaming when their data shows up wrong.

The day a coolant line turned my shop floor into a slip and slide

Wait, so you're saying the pressure setting is a manual thing? I always thought those pumps auto-adjusted based on the material code.

Vent: My local coffee shop stopped taking cash and I was mad, but then I saw their reason

Heard a similar thing from my buddy Mike. His corner store went cashless after someone smashed their window for the third time to grab the register. The owner told him the break-ins stopped completely after that, and he could finally sleep at night. Mike said it totally changed his view on the whole cashless debate.
