Picked the $50 crimper over the $200 one, no regrets after 8 jobs
My old coax crimper finally gave out on a Tuesday at a condo in Arlington. I was stuck between the cheap ratcheting one and the pricey name brand, went with the budget option just to get through the week. It's held up through 8 terminations so far with clean ends, anyone else run cheap tools longer than they expected?

You got 8 clean terminations out of a 50 dollar crimper? What kind of cable are you running, because I had a cheap one crush the dielectric on RG6 after like 3 fittings. The ratchet mechanism felt solid at first but then it started skipping teeth and leaving those little burrs on the connector. Were yours all straight runs or did you have to work around tight corners in that condo, because that's where mine always fell apart.
