Found a fix for sticky shutter blades on old Canon AE-1s

Had three AE-1s in a row with oily shutter blades sticking open. Tried the usual lighter fluid method but it left residue. Switched to 99% isopropyl alcohol and a lens cleaning wipe, worked perfect on all three with no repeat issues after a week. Anyone else had better luck with alcohol over lighter fluid?

99% iso works way better, lighter fluid always leaves gunk behind.

I heard some guy on a car forum swear by brake cleaner for stubborn residue, but that stuffs way too harsh for most plastics. Honestly, 99% iso is my go to now too, just let it sit a minute and it wipes clean.
