Co-founder got cancelled by our own users over a 4 year old tweet, I sided with them
We were scaling our app in Austin and suddenly the inbox flooded with screenshots of a joke our co-founder posted back in 2020, everyone demanded we kick him out that Tuesday. I went against the mob and kept him on the team, since the tweet was clearly dumb but not hateful, and now 3 investors have pulled out, so was I the one who screwed us over or did the users overreact?
