Rant: That time a minor Twitter joke got a local business destroyed in 48 hours
A cafe near me in Portland got slammed with 1-star reviews and death threats over a barista's sarcastic tweet about pineapple on pizza. The owner apologized within hours, but the damage was done and they shut down after 3 months. Has anyone else seen a small place get wrecked this fast over something this petty?

Has your business started doing social media training for every single employee yet? I learned the hard way after my friend's bakery got roasted for a cashier's private Facebook post about not liking dogs. We made everyone sign a policy that says keep personal opinions off public accounts and never use the business name in bios. Also set up a google alert for the business name so we can catch stuff early. The mob moves way too fast to wait and see if something blows over.
