The guy who thanked me after getting me fired still bugs me
Back in 2017 at a warehouse in Cleveland, I flagged a safety issue on a machine and the new supervisor said I was being difficult, so they let me go, but the guy I warned came up to me in the parking lot and said 'I appreciate you looking out,' and I still don't know if that makes it worse or better, has anyone else had the person you got canceled for reach out like that?

At least you got a thank you, my last goodbye was a note taped to a forklift that said "turn in your vest.
