Finally passed the 100 rejection mark at interviews, not sure how I feel about it
I've been job hunting since March in Austin and I hit 100 rejection letters yesterday. That's a LOT of no's, but I also got 12 callbacks out of those, so I guess that's something. The weird part is that the rejection number stopped hurting after 60 or so, it just became this weird scoreboard. My last interview was with a startup that asked me to do a 4 hour unpaid assignment, and I actually said no for the first time. Has anyone else hit a big round number like this and felt more numb than upset? What did you do to keep going?

Ha! Congrats on the unlucky milestone, now you can add "rejection collector" to the resume.
