Yeah that's the worst. I read an article that said banks are getting way too jumpy with these fraud alerts now. They'd rather freeze a real customer than let a single bad charge slip through. Four hours is a long time to be totally cut off, did they at least get it sorted for you quickly after that?

Four hours is brutal, I'd be freaking out. @the_tessa is right about banks being too jumpy now. I saw a thing where they said the computer systems flag anything that looks even a little weird, and a real person barely checks it. It's all about them avoiding any loss, even if it screws over regular people. Makes you wonder if they even care about the hassle it causes.
