My new sous vide setup just hit 500 meals prepped without a single fail

I got a cheap immersion circulator from a restaurant supply auction about a year ago. I started using it for our family meal prep, mostly proteins and some veg. I just checked my log book and realized I've done over 500 individual portions without one coming out wrong. It's made our weekly planning so much easier. Has anyone else found a piece of gear that just quietly became a total workhorse for them?

Honestly, just make it the first thing you do every morning.

Craig's got the right idea with the morning thing. But what happens when you miss a day? That's where I fall apart. Do you have a backup plan, like a quick voice note on your phone? My log book dies when I try to make each entry perfect.
