PSA: My $2,150 Brooklyn rent went up $400 and the landlord's excuse was a new bike rack
Moved here 3 years ago thinking the city would pay me back, but after 6 months of eating rice and listening to my upstairs neighbor's treadmill at 11pm I'm starting to wonder if anyone actually likes it here or we all just pretend, so what finally made you decide to move back home?

$400 for a bike rack, did he at least tell you which rack, or just wave his hand at the street?
