Had to choose between a Nokia 3310 and a Motorola Razr for my daily driver last month

I went with the Razr because I missed flipping it shut to end calls, but the battery dies in two days while my buddy's 3310 still lasts a week. Has anyone else tried switching back to an old phone for real use?

That Razr battery problem is the same trade off with everything now, we traded durability and practicality for style and thinness. Flipping it shut to end a call is one of those satisfying physical actions that phones just don't have anymore, like hanging up a landline receiver. Makes you wonder if we gave up too much just to have a screen that's slightly bigger.

Oh man, I had that same feeling with my old Nokia brick. I just started keeping a clicky pen on my desk to fidget with when I hang up calls lol.
