Got stuck in a 80s dollar bin trap at a con last Saturday
I was digging through a long box at a local convention in Austin and saw a beat-up copy of a run I needed. The seller said it was near mint, so I grabbed it without really checking. Got home and the back cover was literally taped together and 3 pages had coffee stains. I went back the next day and the guy was gone, so I'm out $25 and a chunk of my afternoon. Has anyone else had a dealer straight up lie about condition at a show?
