Had to choose between a customers old dusty PC or a new build with mismatched parts

Picked the dusty PC because the guy wanted data recovery and I figured it'd be easier to just pull the drive. Three hours later and I'm still blowing out cockroach eggs from the power supply. Has anyone else dealt with a machine that bad and came out the other side okay?

Yeah, "three hours" and "still blowing out cockroach eggs" sounds a little dramatic. Maybe just unplug it and give it a quick spray outside, it's not open heart surgery.

One time I cracked open a machine that had a whole family of mice living in the power supply.

Actually they're usually in the bottom near the fan, not the power supply (common mistake though).
