Warning: my screed rope got caught in the mixer and I finished 30 feet of curb with a 2x4
Halfway through a driveway pour in Amarillo last Tuesday the rope snapped and the crew was already on break, so I eyeballed the slope with a 2x4 and one very nervous helper. Got any of those "make it work" fixes you regret, or am I alone on this?

A buddy of mine did the same thing on a sidewalk and his 2x4 "repair" left a puddle that froze every winter. He heard about that dip for years lol.
