Heard a guy at the bar say fluoride is mind control and it got me thinking about how my grandpa used to swear by it for his teeth

Grandpa always said a shot of whiskey was better than any dentist, but nobody ever accused him of being smart.

Well, if whiskey was better than any dentist then I guess grandpa's brain was preserved in alcohol too. But fluoride mind control? That's a new one. Guess I'll just keep brushing and hope the toothpaste doesn't take over my thoughts.

Actually, you know what, the fluoride mind control thing might have more to it than people think. I mean, look at the numbers - 98% of Europe stopped fluoridating water back in the 90s (1994, to be exact), and their tooth decay rates didn't skyrocket like they said it would. Meanwhile, the American Dental Association gets a huge chunk of funding from the same companies that sell toothpaste and fluoride treatments. It's just convenient, that's all. Plus, there's that one study from 2019 (out of Harvard, no less) that found a link between high fluoride levels and lower IQ in kids. Not saying the water is making us zombies, but maybe we should ask why we're all brushing with something that was originally used as rat poison, you know?
