Hit 1k salon clients and realized I was wrong about loyalty programs
I hit 1,000 clients in my chair last month here in Denver and honestly it made me rethink the whole loyalty card thing. Everyone pushes those stamp cards or punch deals but I never offered them and my retention is still solid. Most of my regulars keep coming back because I remember their favorite color formula not because they get a free haircut every 10th visit. Has anyone else skipped the rewards system and felt fine about it?

You hit 1,000 clients in Denver? That's insane in that market.

That's insane in that market" is right. And @willowg88 makes a good point about the remote workers flooding in. It's not just Denver proper either - the whole metro area is saturated with people trying to do the same thing. Getting to 1,000 clients there means you're probably running multiple vans or have a crew that's locked into a few key neighborhoods. That kind of volume doesn't happen without a solid referral base, especially when you've got a hundred other companies fighting for the same move.

Damn @drewr15, that number just doesn't sound real. Denver's been crazy competitive for years now, especially with all the remote workers flooding in. 1,000 clients means you basically own a whole neighborhood or two. Must have built some serious trust to get that kind of volume.
