Old curling iron finally died after 9 years, new one gives different results
I used the same 1 inch iron since beauty school and my curls held for days. Replaced it last week with a similar ceramic one and now my clients' hair drops by hour two. Is there a breaking in period for new irons or should I hunt down the old model on ebay?

Yeah my coffee maker did the same thing after 10 years, new one just isn't the same no matter what I do. Sometimes I think appliances have their own stubborn personalities and we just have to accept the change.
