Boom went limp on a 150-foot pick in Houston and I almost lost it
Wind caught the load mid-swing and my crane started oscillating bad, so I set the brake and held position until it settled. Anyone else ever deal with sudden sway on a tall boom and have to talk yourself through not dropping everything?

Man, you made it sound like the end of the world but really you just set the brake and waited. Is that not standard procedure for any crane operator?

@ivan774 honestly yeah, same here. Set the brake and let it settle. Works every time.
