Spent $220 on an anti-vibration seat and my back finally thanked me
Three weeks into a high-rise job in Austin, my lower back was done after 8 hour shifts in the old seat. I dropped the money on an air ride seat with lumbar support and it changed the whole feel of the cab. Anyone else find that upgrading the seat beats any other comfort mod on a long lift?
Changed the whole feel of the cab" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. I mean, $220 for a seat sounds like something you'd brag about at a truck stop, not something that actually fixes your spine. But three weeks in a high rise, yeah, I get it. That old seat probably felt like a park bench with a wet towel on it. Good for you for not just throwing a pillow behind your back like the rest of us do. Maybe I should stop being cheap and listen to my own back before it files a complaint.
