Exploring an old lighthouse sparked a horror prompt for me.

I visited a crumbling lighthouse on a cliff in the fall. The keeper's logbook had entries that stopped suddenly. It made me imagine a story about what happened there. I turned it into a prompt about finding a deserted place with a dark past. Has a location ever given you a creepy idea for writing?

Walked through an abandoned factory at night. The broken windows and echoes made me imagine a creature in the walls. That raw feeling of a place always starts my best stories.

It's not even about seeing something, it's the SOUND and the empty space doing the work. My best ideas come from that same raw, gut punch a location gives you.
