Pro tip: That old coworker told me to use the same password for everything

Back in 2019 a guy named Dave at my last job swore it was fine to reuse passwords because "nobody's gonna hack a nobody like us." Then last month I got an email from my bank about a login attempt from Lagos on my checking account. Turns out a data breach at some random forum leaked my email and that one password I used everywhere. Has anyone else had to deal with cleaning up after a password reuse situation like this?

OMG yes! I had to change like 50 accounts after the same thing happened to me.
