Why does nobody talk about old SIM cards still being alive?
Last week I found a drawer full of old SIM cards from like 3 years ago, from phones I traded in. I popped one in a spare phone just to see, and it still connected to the network. Scary part is, that was the SIM from my old bank account two-factor setup, so I could reset stuff if I wanted to. It made me wonder how many people still have active SIMs laying around from old devices. Has anyone else checked their old SIMs lately, or am I the only one that forgot about them?
