Question about a dad joke I changed my mind on last week

My brother told me that "what do you call a fake noodle? An impasta" joke 3 years ago at a cookout in Columbus and I rolled my eyes so hard. Last week my kids heard it from a friend and laughed until they cried, and I finally admitted it's actually clever. Am I wrong for thinking this is now a keeper joke?

I used to think that joke was so dumb too, but you changed my mind. It's actually pretty clever once you let yourself laugh at it.

Oh wow @stella_taylor you're right about that. I totally missed the point the first time I heard it too. Now I catch myself telling it to people and watching them groan. Funny how that works.
