Rant: spent $80 on a joke book that had 3 actual jokes in it
Picked up "The Ultimate Dad Joke Encyclopedia" at a book fair last month. Thought it would be a goldmine for this group, you know? Opened it up and half the entries are just puns I already saw on a cereal box. The other half are so long they lose the punchline by paragraph three. My kid read one aloud and even the dog looked embarrassed. I got more laughs from a fortune cookie that said "You are not funny." Anyone else ever get burned by a so-called joke collection that turned out to be recycled filler?
