Beware the 'verified' badge, found a dating service selling them for $5
I was about to match with this guy who had the blue check and everything, looked super legit. Then I found this forum post where someone broke down how easy it is to buy those badges on a freelance site, like 5 bucks and they'll verify any account. Took me 2 days of digging through the comments to confirm it, but now I double-check every profile, especially if they push to move off the app fast. Has anyone else run into a 'verified' profile that turned out to be a scam?
