I finally realized the red flag was in his profile all along
Matched with this guy in Phoenix, we talked for a week and he seemed normal. First date at a coffee shop and he spent 20 minutes explaining why he only dates women named Sarah, seriously. I checked his profile later and it literally said 'looking for my Sarah' at the bottom, I just never scrolled that far. Has anyone else missed a huge warning sign because you were too focused on the pics?
Dang that's brutal! I feel for your buddy Mike, sitting through a whole date knowing he's not gonna measure up literally and figuratively. I had something similar where a guy's profile said "adventurous" and I thought cool, hiking pics, turns out he meant he wanted someone to go to ren faire with him dressed as a wizard every weekend. I was so caught up in his cute dog photos I skimmed right past the part about his "cosplay lifestyle". Now I read bios like I'm studying for a test, every single line, no skimming.
Started laughing cause this EXACT thing happened to my buddy Mike. He matched with this girl who seemed super cool, great pics, funny bio, the whole package. They talked for like two weeks and she seemed totally normal until they finally met up for drinks. She spent the entire night telling him how she NEEDED a guy who was at least 6'2" because her dad was short and it messed her up. He's 5'9" and just sat there nodding the whole time. After the date he went back and read her bio again and there it was in tiny letters at the bottom: "must be tall, sorry". He missed it cause he was too busy looking at her hiking photos. I swear people hide the weird stuff right at the bottom on purpose. Now he reads every single word of every bio before he even swipes right.
