Having more photos does make it harder to fake a whole life. One picture could be anyone, but several show you in different places and times. It's not foolproof, but it adds a layer of checking. Meeting someone without that is like hoping for the best with your eyes closed. I've seen enough bad dates to prefer a little upfront work. Saving yourself a wasted evening is worth a few extra clicks.

Isn't that overthinking it? People can lie with ten photos just as easy as one. I'd rather meet up and see the real person.
