Tried making a deepfake of myself giving a speech from last year

I ran my old Zoom recording through this new AI tool hoping to clean up the audio, but instead it made me look like I was blinking in slow motion every 3 seconds. Has anyone else had their face just glitch out in weird ways with these things?

The thing people keep missing with these deepfake tools is that they're basically just guessing what should be between frames, but they don't understand actual human movement. Like blinking is super fast and complex, your eyelids don't just go up and down smoothly, they twitch and flutter. So the AI tries to fill in missing frames but ends up making you look like a glitching video game character instead. I saw a demo where someone's smile just froze halfway for like 10 seconds because the tool couldn't figure out how to transition between expressions. It's worse with old recordings too because the compression already lost some data, so the AI has less to work with and starts hallucinating movements.

That blinking point totally changed my mind about this stuff.

Did you check if your video framerate matches what the tool expects?
