Just realized my old biz mentor was right about paper ledgers
Back in 2019 I had to pick between switching my small shop over to QuickBooks or sticking with the paper ledger my mentor taught me on, and I went digital after about 3 weeks of犹豫... now I spend more time fixing sync errors than I ever did adding columns by hand. I still keep a backup notebook for client payments, and honestly it saves me every time something glitches out. Anyone else keep old habits around even after moving to new tools?
Old habits die hard, and my handwriting is so bad my backup notebook is basically a cryptogram sometimes. Still beats praying the cloud syncs before a client asks about a payment.
