Remember when the only tech meetup was in that one coffee shop basement?

Had a week last fall where we landed three roofing jobs from a local business app we built for contractors. The best part was seeing a client use it on an iPad, right there on a roof in Corktown. Anyone else miss when the scene felt that small and connected?

That Corktown rooftop iPad moment sounds perfect. Those small wins just hit different.

Right, because scaling up usually means the app gets worse. Irisowens gets it, that real use beats a big number any day. Those small wins are the whole point.

Wasn't the whole point of tech to get big and scale up? I used to chase that idea hard. But seeing a story like yours, about a real person using an app right where they work, that flipped a switch for me. It's not about the size of the crowd at a meetup. It's about making a thing that actually fits into someone's day and helps them. That connection is the real win, way more than just a big user count.
