TIL Detroit's commercial property tax portal is a special kind of broken

Spent 4 hours trying to pull a basic assessment report for a client in Corktown. The site kept timing out after every single form field. Anyone know a workaround or a better direct contact at the city?

Ugh, it feels like every single city website is like this now...

What's the problem with them? I find the new layouts a lot easier to use on my phone. The big buttons and simple menus mean I can pay a parking ticket or find library hours without having to zoom in and squint.
