Mid-presentation at a small gallery in Portland, my stylus stopped responding and the whole piece froze on a blown-up version of a sketch I hated. I switched to the backup laptop, but the colors were all off and someone in the front row asked if it was intentional. Has anyone else had their demo software flake out at the worst possible second?
Portland galleries are brutal for tech fails. Everyone in the front row thinks they're art critics. Backups always look wrong, that's the curse of demo gear. Next time just lean into the glitch and call it a "live rendering." Crowd eats that stuff up.
