My climate activist friend got shadowbanned on Instagram after posting about an oil spill
It's wild how social media sites talk about free speech but shut down green talk. His video of the spill got taken down for 'graphic content', while violent game clips stay up no problem. This kind of picky moderation hurts real issues.

Wait they took down a video about a pipeline as spam? That's insane, what's spam about that? It's not like he was trying to sell you something. Makes you wonder what they're actually trying to hide.

Remember when Facebook got caught letting a contractor target climate ads? The Oversight Board found they were taking down posts about gas leaks in Texas for being "sensitive." Makes you wonder who writes the rules for what's too graphic.
