Threw $150 at a VPN after that one reddit thread hyped it up
Turns out my ISP didn't care about my reddit browsing and now I'm stuck with a year of slow speeds. Anyone else fall for the privacy panic and waste cash on a service you didn't actually need?

Lol yeah I bought a three year plan right after that whole net neutrality freakout. Now my internet is slower than my grandma's dial up and I can't even stream Netflix without it buffering every five minutes. At least I'm safe from the FBI tracking my cat video searches right? Pretty sure my ISP has better things to do than monitor my late night Wikipedia rabbit holes. The real joke is on me for thinking I was some kind of digital outlaw. Guess I'll just use it to pretend I'm in another country and watch region locked shows on YouTube.

Your three year plan sounds like my night shift coffee... good in theory but leaves you disappointed.
