I used to chase every new social media platform, now I just focus on two
For years, I felt like I had to be on every new app that came out, from Clubhouse to BeReal. I was spending maybe 15 hours a week just trying to keep up. About eight months ago, I looked at my numbers and saw that 90% of my actual leads came from just LinkedIn and Instagram. So I stopped the rest cold turkey. I put all that time into making better content for those two places instead. Has anyone else cut back on platforms and seen better results?

Didn't a recent study say most people get their news from just one or two apps now?

Saw that study too. It made me check my own phone. I had three news apps but only ever opened one. Deleted the other two last week. Feels less cluttered now.

Swear half of us just keep the one we hate the least because every app has been wrong at some point. Ever notice how they all show different temps for the same spot?
