Spent 4 hours looking for a coworking space with decent wifi in Lisbon

I walked to 5 different cafes before I found one where the upload speed wasn't stuck at 2 Mbps... turns out the coworking spot I passed up had fiber but I didn't check the reviews. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon just hunting for a stable connection?

Read a blog post last week that said Lisbon has over 200 coworking spaces now but half of them are running on basic home internet plans. Sounds about right if you got stuck at 2 Mbps upload, that's basically unusable for anything with video. I remember someone on Reddit saying the fiber rollout there is a mess because the city won't let companies dig up the old streets easily. Next time check the reviews on speedtest results or ask in a local Facebook group before you walk anywhere.

Nah, 2 Mbps works fine for emails and browsing.

Come on, even basic cloud backups choke at 2 Mbps.
